Its common practice for the companies competing in the total or partial “Immersive Accelerator” space to list hundreds of “MENTORS”. The fundamental difference with Platform Venture is that our portfolio companies are not led by inexperienced younger people who have never had mentors, but rather by established and already successful individuals who have significant rolodexes of their own. Listing a hundred individuals in order to provide the optics of increased credibility is not something that is required in our model.
